While we’re very proud of what we were able to accomplish in a short amount of time, there is a lot more we’d like to be able to do for our student-athletes. In addition to continuing the support we’ve already started to provide, we’d like to be able to further assist each team in the future.

Preseason ice time is not budgeted for by the school. In the past, it has had to be paid for by player’s parents. It is one of the goals of the Lebanon Ice Hockey Boosters to provide adequate preseason ice time to both teams to help them prepare for the upcoming season.

The LIHB is also working closely with the coaching staff of both teams to establish what other needs we may be able to assist with to enhance the experience for the players throughout the season.

In order to do this, however, we need your support! All the proceeds from our fundraising directly support the student-athletes and the Lebanon Cooperative Ice Hockey Programs. Thank you for everything you’ve helped us accomplish!

We recognized that in order for the Raider Hockey Program to be successful, it needed additional support. With the goal of promoting and encouraging the advancement of the Lebanon Co-op Hockey Program and it’s student-athletes in mind, the Lebanon Ice Hockey Boosters has been raising funds in order to support the teams and the greater hockey community.

During the 2023-2024 season, we held several community events, including the first annual Raider Winter Classic, and we engaged with alumni and future Raider families. We established community successful programs like the Kid Captain Program and we directly supported the student-athletes by providing meals after every away game, team gear, and educational information like nutrition booklets to all the players. We covered the NHIAA admission fee for the post-season games for almost 200 students. We also made donations to local and national charities, like the Haven, the Hartford Food Shelf, and the American Cancer Society.
